Shipping Policy

Here at Vapour Generation, we believe that shopping online should be just as convenient and painless as it would be buying from our retail locations - which is why we strive to deliver an equally smooth experience for our online customers!

 

We know there's nothing worse than being left in the dark waiting around for our 'Vape Mail'. That's why we ship exclusively using DPD's next-day service. This allows us to provide a fully tracked and automated delivery service, with powerful features such as live tracking of your order's every movement, text-updates and a guaranteed one-hour delivery window. Not going to be in? Simply head over to the tracking page and re-arrange via MyDPD!

The cost of this service is a flat-rate of £4.95, and free on all orders over £30.

Please note that we do not ship on weekends or any UK public holidays. Any orders placed on these days will be shipped on the next-working day.

The cut-off time for same-day dispatch on weekdays is 12:30PM.

We urge all customers to ensure that all contact information provided is accurate upon placing an order, as failure to do so may prevent you from receiving updates from our courier.

Once your order is with DPD, any delays or issues are beyond our control. Vapour Generation is not responsible for delays during the DPD transit period. For real-time tracking and assistance, refer to the provided tracking information or contact DPD directly.

Age Verification & Missed Deliveries

Due to the nature of our business, it is our legal obligation to ensure that nobody below the legal smoking age (18) can purchase our products. For shipped orders, the age verification process is handled at the point of delivery by DPD. This means that they are unable to do the following:

  • Leave parcels in a safe place
  • Post your order through the letterbox
  • Deliver to a neighbour

To clarify, in order to receive your order you must be available to receive it during your allocated delivery window provided by DPD. If you look below the age of 25, please ensure that you have valid photographic ID, such as a driver's licence or passport, to hand on the delivery date.

DPD will make several attempts to deliver your order if you are not in, but failure to provide proof of age when asked will result in your order being returned to us immediately.

If you are not going to be in on the day of delivery, you are able to reschedule to a more suitable date via the DPD tracking page.

As a small business, shipping costs are incredibly high and we still get charged the full rate regardless of whether an order is delivered or not. Therefore, in order to stay competitive and keep prices down for our customers, for any orders regardless of value that are returned to us or rejected for these reasons, it is our policy to offer a full refund minus our standard £4.95 subsidised flat fee.

Offshore Shipping

Due to increased shipping costs and admin associated with shipping beyond England, Scotland (Lowlands) and Wales, we can unfortunately no longer offer our standard DPD service on orders to offshore UK destinations. We are however happy to arrange alternative options, such as Royal Mail tracked shipping through a custom order, or if required, DPD shipping at an increased rate.
